Cara_Black: I enjoy going to the movies, do something like tthe tournament sets up...i know here they are offering crises around the bay...and ai love to shop

Cara_Black: I started playing tennis when I was real young like three or four....so young i really don't remember

guest-Anika says: Cara, I am a 15 year old beginning tennis player and I dream of playing in the pro's. I am very athletic, and work really hard but a lot of people say I have started TOO LATE and am "TOO OLD" to make it. What do you think? Do you have any advise for me? Cara_Black: I say just keep playing as long as you are enjoying it and don't listen to what others think. Do what you want to do.

guest-oahu says: Which grand slam is your favorite and why?

Cara_Black: Yeah they do all the time

Cara_Black: My favorite grand slam is Wimbledon definately because it is such a great atmoshpere and feeling there.

venusfan says: Where were u born and what was your highest ranking and biggest win

Cara_Black: I was born in Harare, Zimbabwe. My best ranking was 31 and my biggest win would have to be when I beat Anke Huber in Palm Srpings

Cara_Black: I plan on trying to qualify at San Diego and Los Angeles. After that I am playing Toronto, New Haven, and finally the US Open.

WeeblerElf says: Does it bother you that you don't get the chance to do Fed Cup because Zimbabwe doesn't have enough players?

Cara_Black: Yeah it does. It is frustrating and I would love to represent my country any chance I get. I guess I will just have to wait a few years until someone else comes along.

Cara_Black: I hate that question. I don't think I really have a favorite, but I like watching Agassi and the way he plays,

Cara_Black: I think it is definately and I think we deserve more money!

guest-oahu says: Do you play any other sports? And which ones if you do.

Cara_Black: I play basketball, baseball, soccer with my brothers, table tennis....swimming....that's about it.

guest-Ana says: Who is your favourite group??

Cara_Black: I don't think I have a favorite one, but I like all types of music. I like dance, reggae, heavy metal.

guest-oahu says: Is there a specific area of your game you are working on?

Cara_Black: I am working on my footwork and movement alot.

Cara_Black: No I don't.

Cara_Black: I hang out with my doubles partner, Irina Selyutina, the South African and Australian girls.

Cara_Black: No I feel like I am in press...but all losses are hard to take but you have to look on it as a learning experience.

Cara_Black: Pizza is my favorite food. Not very original sorry. I try to watch what I eat so I can stay fit.

Cara_Black: I think my serve is the best part of my game. It is a shot I enjoy most and am most comfortable with right now in my game.

Cara_Black: Every two or three months.

Cara_Black: Like I said before I like to watch Agassi.

Cara_Black: I am ranked 45 right now and I am hoping to finish in the top 20, but I will need a good run.

Cara_Black: My favorite place in Zimbabwe is a place called Lake Karibe.

Cara_Black: That's in Zimbabwe.

guest-oahu says: How much weight training do you do if any?

Cara_Black: I do alot with weights. I go every second day when I am not playing. And then at tournaments I go when i can.

Cara_Black: I am a chat aholic.

Cara_Black: It actually was. I had the support of my family, but the Tennis Federation is really underdeveloped in Zimbabwe.

Cara_Black: I guess so. I think that's my game.

Cara_Black: I think I definately need to improve on hardcourt.

Cara_Black: Yes, most definately!

guest-ys says: There is no WTA event played in Southern Africa. What do you think about that?

Cara_Black: Unfortunately not...we are trying to get one, putting in our opinions. We would really love to have one there.

Cara_Black: Have not thought about that. These are some tough questions. Sports management, physiotherapists.

Cara_Black: I think it is generally fine. Everybody is competitive. We are all nice girls and get along for the most part.

venusfan says: Is there a player on the tour who you are looking forward to playing?

Cara_Black: yeah, i actually would not mind playing hingis. I have not played her since juniors. we had a really tough three set match 4 or 5 years ago.
